FUNDING to support home medicines delivery services beyond the COVID-19 crisis, will not feature in the breakdown of spending under the Seventh Community Pharmacy Agreement (7CPA).
Although the full details of the agreement have yet to be released by the Department of Health, a spokesperson for the Pharmacy Guild of Australia told Pharmacy Daily that no provision for ongoing support for the service had been included.
"The current delivery support is part of the Government's COVID response, not part of the agreement," the spokesperson said.
The Federal Government had allocated $25 million under its $2.4 billion COVID health package to support home deliveries.
