PRICELINE Pharmacies have raised more than $600,000 for the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation during a recent two-month-long campaign.
The fundraising efforts saw Priceline customers round up their instore purchases across the groups network, while stores also held events to support the Foundation's charity partners, Dementia Australia, Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia (PANDA), the Raise Foundation and Look Good Feel Better.
Priceline Pharmacy General Manager, Andrew Vidler, praised the efforts of teams across the network, with Priceline Pharmacy Riverlink in Ipswich, Queensland, being singled out after raising $18,000.
"The Priceline Sisterhood Foundation has two goals: to raise funds and awareness for women and their families by supporting a range of charities close to people's hearts," he said.
"I'm extremely proud of the work done by team members and customers around the country to raise so much money for such worthy Australian causes.
"I am also pleased to announce that the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation is also welcoming a fifth charity partner into its stable: Motherless Daughters Australia.
"This organisation helps girls and women who have lost their mothers.
"The Sisterhood Foundation Board believes Motherless Daughters is not only the perfect fit for the Sisterhood Foundation, but also for the wider API and Priceline communities".
