THE Federal Government has
granted $11.4m to Australian
researchers who formed
community partnerships to improve
health outcomes in the country.
The grants include $135,633 in
funding for Professor Nicholas Zwar,
the National Prescribing Service
and Asthma Australia to reduce
pressure on the PBS by providing
financial incentives to adopt lower
cost asthma medication over higher
cost alternatives.
The funding is provided by the
National Health and Medical
Research Council and other
