RESEARCHERS have turned to gaming to help improve antimicrobial prescribing behaviour in hospitals, thus helping manage antimicrobial resistance (AMR), according to a Pharmaceutical Journal report.
The scientists at Imperial College London have developed a game featuring virtual patients in a hospital setting requiring prescribers to diagnose and manage them making optimal use of antibiotics - imperial.ac.uk.
