THE Anex Bulletin, a specialty publication for workers in Australia's needle and syringe programs (NSPs), has been relaunched in electronic format.
The updated version is produced by Penington Institute with funding from the Health Department, and aims to reinforce the importance of NSPs in saving lives.
Community pharmacies are a key part of NSP service delivery, with the Guild saying they account for about 15% of syringes used for injecting drugs and are ideally placed to assist in the distribution of sterile injecting equipment.
