PHARMACY Guild of Australia's Queensland branch have said they are acting on member feedback and closing the 2025 APP conference on Sat over the traditional Sun.
In an update released this morning, organisers say the event will feature extended opening hours for the main show floor on Fri and Sat to compensate for an earlier end.
"Pre-conference workshops on Wednesday and sessions on Thur - Sat will not be affected and will still provide the high level education for which APP is known," organisers said.
APP 2025 is scheduled to take place from 20-22 Mar at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Following the conclusion of formalities, delegates can gather at The Star for the "infamous" APP gala celebration, which next year will adopt a 'Street Party Hoedown' theme with country music and line dancing.
The closing party will also feature the return of 'Furnace and the Fundamentals', also back by popular demand.
