Business continuity planning: Business continuity planning (BCP) training events provide an opportunity for attendees to learn from risk management experts and collaborate with other pharmacists. This workshop provides the theory of BCP development and how to identify pharmacy specific risks. They will also demonstrate the basics of the new continuity planning software to ensure you are equipped to create a plan after the workshop. This BCP workshop would be very valuable for anyone who: •owns or manages a pharmacy, or • is involved in managing stock and other businessmanagement activities in the pharmacy, or • is thinking about moving into pharmacy management or ownership, or • is the sole pharmacist practising on a regular basis. 2 CPD points are being offered by the Australian College of Pharmacy for attending the workshop. 3 CPD points are being offered by the Australian College of Pharmacy for a completed BCP Infection control training: One of the most recognisable risks to pharmacy during a pandemic is the spread of the influenza virus to staff members and then to other customers. These infection control training events have been designed to trainthe- trainer, so a pharmacist who attends can take their knowledge back to train the whole pharmacy team. 2 CPD points are being offered by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) for attending the workshop Visit www.pandemicprepared.org.au to find a workshop near you and register.
