the Advisory Committee on the Safety of Vaccines (ACSOV), an advisory committee to the Therapeutic Goods Administration, has met to give a preliminary assessment of the safety of aluminium adjuvants given at birth to premature or low birth weight neonates, and provide other advice relating to vaccines, immune system disorders, risk management plans and other immunisation program advice.
