Aspirin exemptions

THE TGA has published advertising exemptions for Chemmart Pharmacy EC Aspirin 100mg tablet blister pack, Pharmacy Choice EC Aspirin 100mg tablet blister pack and Terry White Chemists EC Aspirin 100mg tablet blister pack, all supplied as OTC drugs by Symbion Pharmacy. The exemptions allow labelling on packages to state that the product “Reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke in patients with known cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease”.
