BD ULTRA-FINE 5mm Pen Needle with EasyFlow Technology and 5-Bevel Comfort is now available in Australia, on the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS).
EasyFlow Technology is an extra thin wall cannula that improves the flow rate of insulin for a faster injection and the new 5-Bevel needle tip is designed to reduce penetration force and increase comfort, the company says.
Pharmacist and credentialled Diabetes Educator Kirrily Chambers said these new features could help healthcare professionals transition people using injectable diabetes medications to shorter pen needles.
