THE European Medicines Agency has published new information on its website in an effort to improve understanding of biosimilars among countries across the European Union.
The new material includes collateral for health professionals as well as an animated video for patients that explains key facts on biosimilar medicines.
The information is available in eight languages, some of which may be useful in counselling expatriate patients in Australia around the intricacies of biosimilar issues - see ema.europa.eu.
