Now available from Sanofi- Aventis is iBGStar, a device which plugs into an iPhone to help maintain connection with family and physician. Especially targeted for children with type 1 diabetes, the device, working in conjunction with the Diabetes Manager App (free on iTunes) helps patients test and track their blood glucose using ‘Dynamic Biochemistry’, emailing the results direct to parents/carers and paediatrician.
