A RECENT study has linked a
compound found in broccoli
(sulforaphane) with the death of
cancer stem cells in breast cancer.
Scientists found that sulforaphane
when administered to rats and mice
actively sought out the breast
cancer stem cells (which are
responsible for tumour
development) and killed them,
