Hospira Inc. in the US has
announced a voluntary nationwide
recall for one lot of 0.25% Marcaine
(Bupivacaine HCl Injection, USP), 10
mL, single-dose vial.
The recall is due to a confirmed

glass, which Hospira has attributed
to a supplier’s glass defect.
