HEALTH Minister Greg Hunt yesterday announced $170,000 in funding for the National Heart Foundation of Australia to develop a National Strategic Action Plan for heart disease and stroke, with assistance from the National Stroke Foundation, to guide measures required to improve awareness, understanding, diagnosis and treatment of caridiovascular issues.
