THE grand opening of Chemist Discount Centre's (CDC) 47th store in Blackburn, Victoria, was celebrated last week.
Positioned prominently on Canterbury Road, the pharmacy has rebranded to CDC, and has affirmed its commitment to continue serving the community.
CDC said its team will provide customers with health and wellness solutions tailored to the Blackburn community.
The pharmacy aims to offer a range of services including National Diabetes Services Scheme, vaccinations, blood pressure checks, webster packing, medication reviews, medical certificates, Opioid Dependence Program, unwanted medicine disposal, local deliveries, and Click & Collect.
Owner Simon Jiao wants to ensure that "every member of the community has access to convenient and personalised healthcare from a locally owned and operated establishment supported by a national brand".
While CDC General Manager Theo Gakelos added, "we are excited to open a discount pharmacy in Blackburn".
"We hope to make this pharmacy a local beacon for expert advice with lower prices."
"The grand opening event was a huge success, featuring exclusive discounts, delicious food and coffee, and many smiling faces," said Gakelos.
