EFFICACY and tolerability of celecoxib has been shown to be non-inferior to ibuprofen for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis symptoms, in a recent study published in the Journal of International Medical Research.
Researchers from Portugal, Spain and the UK collaborated for the comparison revealing celecoxib to have at least equal efficacy and marginally superior safety.
