THE Royal Australian College of
General Practitioners (RACGP) has
launched a social media campaign
targeting the $7 co-payment for
GP visits announced in the Federal
budget last week (PD 13 May).
#CoPayNoWay is on Twitter and
Facebook, and is offering letter
templates for people wanting to
write to the Prime Minister of local
MP.
Campaign responses include
“How many GP co-payments is
@JoeHockey’s cigar worth?” from
@jodirbird.
Similarly, the AMA has launched
their program #StopTheCoP
citing the “dire effect on patients,
