IN AUSTRALIAN adults aged 65 years and older, recent COVID-19 vaccination - which is a booster dose received in the last three months - has reduced the risk of death from SARS-CoV-2 infection by as much as 93%, compared to those who were unvaccinated, a new national study of 3.8 million adults has shown.
