The Heart Foundation is offering a new online learning module, Improving adherence in cardiovascular care, which is accredited for professional development points. Many of the 3.5 million Australians suffering from, or at risk of, cardiovascular disease (CVD) are not taking their medicines. This ‘non-adherence’ is further increasing a person’s risk of future cardiovascular events such as a heart attack or stroke. Pharmacists can access the course by CLICKING HERE.
