THE National Australia Bank has announced that Chemist Warehouse will now be offering customers the option of itemised digital receipts.
Developed in partnership with Slyp, the new option is now live at the pharmacy giant's more than 460 stores across Australia, with itemised receipts being delivered directly to customers via SMS messages and/or the NAB mobile banking app.
Chemist Warehouse Chairman Jack Gance said "as Australia's leading pharmacy retailer, we strive to provide our customers with the latest in technological innovation to enhance their in-store experience and we're proud to be setting the standard when it comes to digitisation within the industry".
He said the launch of Slyp Smart Receipts would improve the group's environmental footprint while simplifying the checkout process for both customers and retailers.
More than 120,000 NAB customers have already opted in to receive digital receipts trhough a variety of participating retailers, with the bank and Slyp saying they are now on track to have the platform used by half of all Australians by mid-2022.
