SIGMA Healthcare's Discount Drug Stores (DDS) brand this morning launched its new 12-week Dispensary Excellence Program, allowing teams in stores across the country to learn new skills to improve patient health and business outcomes.
The program has been designed specifically for DDS pharmacists, with DDS Head Patrick Stoll saying the brand was looking forward to seeing some "really positive results" from the scheme.
"At Discount Drug Stores, we know that effective leadership and efficient practices is what helps to build a profitable business, so the program is a really important part of our commitment to supporting our franchise partners in growing their pharmacies," Stoll said.
DDS has also flagged further initiatives to develop its pharmacy teams, incl the launch of new partnership programs to be announced later this year.
