A CHEMIST Warehouse pharmacist is calling for the Guild to be disbanded.
"The shortage is thanks to you guys - overworking pharmacists by trying to expand pharmacy services and stepping on GP turf and paying peanuts," he said on LinkedIn.
"Increase the pharmacy award. Disband the Guild."
He was speaking out as the Guild launched its 2023 Workforce Survey to assess the needs of the pharmacy workforce in Australia and tackle the growing shortage of approximately 2,400 full-time equivalent pharmacists.
