AUSSIE doctors will pay you to drop your dacks! The University of Tasmania is offering cash incentives for men who volunteer to have their genitals inspected, as part of its School of Medicine’s “Man Check” program. Employed under the title of ‘clinical teaching associates’ the Man Check volunteers will be paid $40 per hour in return for their services which will in turn help the University’s medical students become better skilled at performing the inspections. The University has also said that the exams will also aid its students to develop correct etiquette. The Man Check program is set to commence early next year. MOZART for the microbes. A sewage plant in Germany has come up with a unique plan to help expedite the decomposition process. Operators say they will play Mozart classics 24 hrs a day in the hope this will to stimulate the bacteria that break down waste. According to the plant, recent research has shown microbes are particularly partial to harmonies and rhythms. HOW about a Mexican Wave as a way of dealing with exam stress? A new YouTube video clip is taking over the computer screens of students worldwide, showing a group of pupils in an English school starting a choreographed “Mexican Wave’ of movements whilst sitting exams - unbeknownst to their examiners and invigilators. The wave begins small and builds towards an all out Mexican wave music and lights show. The creators of the video is British youth counselling charity ChildLine which approached students from schools and colleges all over England to participate, in the hopes that the humorous video would help other stressed out students garner a sense of perspective about their studies.
