AT LAST - that formula!
It’s not something that can be
sold in a pharmacy and many of
us find it elusive at times, but
scientists at the University College
London have got your back,
having defined the formula to
describe, predict or explain that
most sought after experience,
happiness.
According to BBC Health News,
allowing for expectations, rewards
and past outcomes, happiness
can be predicted by the formula:

situations and brain scans could
help in predictive assessment of
happiness, said the researchers,

If you’re having a busy day at
the pharmacy tomorrow, you
might be pleased to know you’d
be disqualified from the Second
International Lazy Olympics.
Held in Montenegro under an
oak tree, the only event (which
we’ve dubbed The Laze) involved
lying down under the tree,
Croatian Times reported, and
anyone seen to be exerting too
much effort would be disqualified
with the winner being whoever
continued to be laziest for the
longest; appropriately, organisers
have reportedly said they couldn’t
be bothered advertising the event
or creating a rule book.
