FANS of pop star Justin Bieber are
being offered an opportunity to
own some of his saliva.
The manager of a music venue
in Auckland, New Zealand, is
auctioning a nearly-empty bottle
of Hennessy cognac which the
singer was apparently chugging
down during an impromptu
performance last week.
Bieber landed in the city on
Wednesday and that night
turned up during a gig at The
Studio, joining hip-hop duo Rae
Sremmurd on stage as he swigged
from the bottle.
According to the Dominion Post,
manager Al Jepsen got his hands
on the bottle afterwards, and is
offering it on the TradeMe online
auction website.
He claims there are probably
20-30ml left in the bottle, and
estimates that 70% of it is Bieber
backwash.
Described as a “must have” for
any diehard fan, Jepsen says the
surplus saliva is “the closest you’ll
probably get to a real kiss from
the Bieb himself”.
The auction closes this weekend,
with the precious bottle having
so far attracted five bids for a
stunning total of NZ$30.86.
Jepsen dashed the hopes of one
enquirer about whether Justin
himself comes with the bottle, but
said perhaps in the future DNA
could be extracted from the saliva
in order to create Bieber 2.0.
