A Family-owned and operated pharmacy in Glen Innes, NSW has won best window display in the lead up to the annual Glen Innes Show, which occurred over the weekend.
Timbs Pharmacy (pictured below) took out some fierce competition from Smeaton's Bakery, deemed runner-up, with the Premier Store and Home Living following closely behind.
Rhubarb and Rosie, The Shop in Glen, Glen Innes Severn council's library, St Vincent de Paul, Home Living, Regional Australia Bank, and Sage and Clover were also entrants.
"This 2020 competition has provided us with some very interesting, eye-catching and wonderful examples of what is on offer at our show," organiser Michelle Hancock told Glen Innes Examiner.
The Glen Innes Show is considered to be one of the best agricultural events in NSW, and this year entry will be free thanks to the Glen Innes Severn Council's decision to front up the $65,900 cash to pay for everyone's tickets, "to get them along to the show, to have a good time".
