TENNIS champion Serena
Williams may attract some
criticism for her latest life choice -
tasting some dog food.
The 2016 Australian Open
runner-up has confessed to
making herself ill after sampling a
salmon and rice dish she ordered
for Chip, her Yorkshire Terrier
while staying at a hotel in Rome,
where she was competing in this
week’s Italian Open tournament.
“I thought, ‘what the heck, I’m
gonna try a piece’. It looks good.
So I ate a spoonfull. Don’t judge
me!” she posted on social media.
Apparently the after-effects
were not so good, with Williams
adding “I just ran to the toilet like
I thought I was gonna pass out”.
“I don’t know what they put in
these dog foods, but Chip liked it”.
Fortunately Williams recovered
in time to smash fellow American
Christina McHale in the third
round of the competition - with
Chip apparently looking on
adoringly from the player’s box.
WHAT'S the first thing security
officers at Atlanta Airport in the
US did when a decaying corpse
passed through their X-ray
scanner? Instagram it, of course!
Like the stuff of nightmares,
the bloodied body was
pushed into the security area
slumped in a wheelchair.
Fortunately, the crusty cadaver
was actually a prop from the
horror movie Texas Chainsaw
Massacre, with Transportation
Security Administration officers
confirming he was safely screened
and “sent on his jolly way”.
