A BRITISH man is making
headlines after revealing he has
eaten sausages and chips at every
meal for the last 22 years.
26-year-old Daniel Pennock
from Wakefield in West Yorkshire
has a “selective eating disorder”
which only allows him to eat
bread, crisps, apples, bananas and
sausage rolls.
“I don’t eat anything apart from
junk and I’m fed up,” he said.
Pennock, who has posed for a
series of glamour-style food shots
to highlight his dilemma
says the condition developed at
the age of four when he began
refusing to eat anything but
sausages and chips for dinner.
Unfortunately the “unusual
habit” has seen him gain weight
and cost him several relationships
with former girlfriends.
He said he’s hoping to get
professional help so he can live
a ‘normal’ life and pursue an
ambition to be a personal trainer.
AND while we’re on the subject,
a new McDonald’s fast food
outlet in the US is set to trial
“bottomless french fries”.
The eatery in St Joseph, Missouri
will also offer the Australian developed
“Create your taste”
concept allowing diners to
customise their burgers.
Set to open in Jul, visitors will
be asked “do you want fries with
that” - and if the answer is yes
then they will be able to have as
many as they want under the new
all-you-can-eat option.
