TECHNOLOGY giant IBM has patented a drone which can detect when office workers are tired and automatically deliver them a cup of coffee.
The documentation lodged with the US Patent Office (pictured below) describes a flying device which can identify the "cognitive state" of personnel - by detecting blood pressure and pupil dilation - to see if they're drowsy - and lower the hot beverage on an "unspooling string".
The split between Britain and the European Union looks set to have significant implications for childbirth rates in the UK, after concerns about foreign sperm donations in the event of a "no-deal" Brexit.
Officials have highlighted a major trade imbalance - namely that Danish semen is a key contributor to British fertility clinics, with some 3,000 samples imported last year.
If a deal cannot be reached with the EU, a technical paper relating to Brexit warns of potential shortages due to additional red tape requiring new formal agreements between individual establishments.
The paper notes that an independent UK national sperm bank was established in 2014, but attracted just nine donors in its first year of operation before subsequently being closed down.
