ADRENALINE boost. An 80 year old American woman, Laverne Everett, was expecting a heart pounding 80th birthday celebration but got more than she bargained for when she slipped out of her parachute harness. Everett had decided to undertake the jump to fulfill a lifelong dream of skydiving, but just moments after jumping out of the plane strapped to her instructor, she slipped out of her upper harness. Fortunately her instructor managed to cling on to her for the entire fall, and the pair landed safely but visibly shaken minutes later. Laverne has since said she “really wanted to jump” and for her next adventure would like to ride in a race car. To view the clip posted of the jump CLICK HERE.
