THE European Medicines Agency has kicked off a business continuity plan to deal with the "uncertainty and workload implications linked to the UK's withdrawal from the European Union".
Brexit is a key issue for the EMA which is currently based in London and will need to be relocated - along with almost 900 staff.
In its latest update the agency's board confirmed it would select from a list of cities bidding to host the facility at its next meeting in Oct, with European member states keenly vying for the facility.
