The European Union has voted to
introduce anti-smoking legislation
to reduce the number of smokers
by 2.4 million.
According to the BBC News,
the EU Tobacco Products Ruling
demands that all packaging must
have health warnings covering at
least 65% of the front and back
area and flavoured cigarettes such
as menthol cigs are to be banned.
In addition the EU will track
distribution of cigarettes more
tightly to combat illegal trade, BBC
