THE Senate report focused on enhancing access to diagnosis and treatment for individuals with rare and less common cancers has been supported by the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA).
The report encompasses over 40 recommendations including expanding medication access and bolstering workforce development in cancer care.
SHPA President Tom Simpson pushed for swift action to remove barriers to accessing cancer medicines and care for these patients.
