Ferinject now on PBS

ASPEN Australia has announced that its iron deficiency anaemia therapy Ferinject (ferric carboxymaltose) 10ml (500mg) is available on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). The indication is for the treatment of iron deficiency when oral iron preparations are ineffective or cannot be used. The diagnosis must be based on laboratory tests.
