FreeStyle BGMs alert

The UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued alerts related to Abbott Diabetes Care’s FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle blood glucose meters because they may give incorrect low blood glucose results. Abbott has already alerted healthcare professionals and recalled the products. Patients will have their BGMs replaced by Abbott.
