GLAXOSMITHKLINE has been ranked number one on a list of companies that are changing the world, collated by US-based FORTUNE magazine. The ‘Change the World’ list recognises businesses that have made significant progress in sustainable, scalable approaches to addressing societal problems as part of their company strategy. GSK said the ranking reflects the “dedication and commitment of our people around the world to modernise the way we do business,” challenging the traditional pharma model to help address the needs of not just the wealthy minority but all 7 billion people on the planet.
