GLAXOSMITHKLINE (GSK)
has been informed by the UK’s
Serious Fraud Office (SFO) that
it has opened a formal criminal
investigation into the Group’s
commercial practices.
GSK said it is “committed to
operating its business to the
highest ethical standards and will
continue to cooperate fully with
the SFO.”
The investigation follows
corruption charges faced by GSK’s
former China and Hong Kong
manager and other colleagues
(PD 16 May) for allegedly bribing
officials in Beijing and Shanghai to
