THE Pharmacy Guild of Australia, Victorian Branch President, George Tambassis, together with the Guild's Victorian Branch, have expressed heartfelt condolences for the passing of former Liberal minister Kevin Andrews on the weekend.
"The Guild would like to acknowledge Mr Andrews' support of community pharmacy and its vital role as a primary healthcare provider during more than 30 years as Federal Member for the Victorian seat of Menzies," said a Guild Victorian Branch spokesperson.
"Our thoughts are with his family, colleagues and friends at this time."
Kevin Andrews (19552024) served as a member of parliament from 1991-2022 and was Minister for Defence.
He had been battling cancer for the past year.
