free up doctors’ time and relieve
the drain on taxpayers money.
Responding to an article
published in the Brisbane Sunday
Mail regarding GPs and sick
certificates, National President of
the Pharmacy Guild, Kos Sclavos,
said: “The fact that there could be
up to 1.5 million unnecessary visits
to doctors per year for sick
certificates or other unnecessary
administrative reasons is a scandal
that should be addressed with
