INTERNET boost: In April, the Federal Government announced NBN Co would be supporting the delivery of enhanced telehealth services by upgrading to 50Mbps download and 20Mbps upload connections at no extra cost for a period of six months. The Pharmacy Guild has successfully advocated for the inclusion of community pharmacists onto the list of eligible health professionals. This will enable community pharmacies with a residential 12/1 Mbps or 25/5Mbps to secure an upgrade via their retail service provider to access extra bandwidth to support increased online activity at no additional cost.
The telehealth speed boost offer is due to end in September.
