THE Pharmacy Guild of Australia, in collaboration with NostraData, has unveiled a new calculator to help pharmacies understand changes to their dispensary remuneration under the recently announced eighth Community Pharmacy Agreement (8CPA).
This tool enables pharmacies to grasp the evolving remuneration landscape by providing data specific to their operations under the 8CPA, building on the success of a similar calculator for 60-day dispensing remuneration.
An additional calculator for professional services income will be available once the Regional Pharmacy Maintenance Allowance matrix for 2024-25 is finalised.
Guild's Acting President Nick Panayiaris (pictured) said that last year, members "benefited significantly" from data and insights provided by NostraData's analytical tools, which helped pharmacists thrive despite recent challenges.
Highlighting the tool's importance, NostraData CEO Jim Xenos said granting pharmacists easy access to essential insights enables them to run sustainable businesses by navigating changing regulations and understanding their impact. JG
