HEALTHYLIFE Pharmacy Adelaide has reopened with a new look, featuring a dedicated consultation room where customers can seek advice from a pharmacist or a telehealth GP, and receive a prescription with a short wait time.
Healthylife Pharmacy banner group is the result of a partnership between Woolworths Group's health subsidiary Healthylife and SuperPharmacy.
Warren Turner, the owner and pharmacist of Healthylife Pharmacy, noted the significance of the new consultation room.
"Patrons visit Healthylife Pharmacies daily for advice on various conditions," Turner said.
"Some customers can be treated by pharmacists within their new scope of practice, while others may need further advice from a doctor.
"The consultation room for telehealth services allows customers to seek advice from a doctor in under 15 minutes and get appropriate care without leaving the pharmacy," commented Turner.
Healthylife introduced a telehealth service in 2023, giving customers access to health advice from Australian doctors via the Healthylife website.
A standard 15-minute GP consultation costs $39.
Healthylife Managing Director Ananth Sarathy added, "offering telehealth services in Healthylife Pharmacies will enable more customers to get fast and convenient access to a doctor".
