TERRYWHITE Chemmart has joined forces with Advara HeartCare and Novartis Australia to form the Heart Health Collective.
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death and disease in Australia, affecting more than 4.2 million people and accounting for more than 27% of deaths each year.
The collaboration aims to tackle CVD by bringing together the expertise, innovation and community reach of the partners to provide support and resources to those at risk of CVD, ultimately working toward better heart health outcomes for Australian people.
With its extensive community pharmacy network, TerryWhite Chemmart brings to the initiative accessible, pharmacist-led healthcare services that play an important role in prevention, education and ongoing care.
Advara HeartCare has an extensive network of cardiologists and world-class cardiovascular services, while Novartis leads in experience and knowledge in developing heart health solutions.
"Our partnership in the Heart Health Collective underscores TerryWhite Chemmart's dedication to enhancing community health," said Nick Munroe, Executive GM of TerryWhite Chemmart.
"By uniting with Advara HeartCare and Novartis, our network of over 600 pharmacies and their teams are taking a proactive step toward supporting those at risk of cardiovascular disease."KB
