SYDNEY-BASED Homart Group has announced the acquisition of Thompson's Herbals, a New Zealand vitamin, mineral herbal and supplement brand.
The company is also in the final stage of completing the acquisition of Thursday Plantation, an Australian natural essential oils brand in pharmacies.
By incorporating the two brands into its portfolio, Homart aims to grow its market share, introduce new products, and become more competitive in both local and international markets.
"This significant development aligns with our strategic vision to expand our domestic brand presence by acquiring a company with deep roots in Australia and New Zealand through their well-known brands," said Homart Group MD Jeffrey Yeh (pictured).
The two brands "will reinforce [Homart's] commitment to quality and innovation in the health and wellness sector", he added.
Both Thompson's Herbals and Thursday Plantation were previously owned by leading Australian consumer healthcare company, Integria.
