Incorrect pricing

THE Department of Veterans
Affairs has advised that the April
2012 Repatriation Schedule of
Pharmaceutical Benefits (RPBS)
contains incorrect prices for three
Allevyn Gentle dressings supplied
by Smith & Nephew.
The incorrectly priced dressings
include: Item 4196W ‘Dressingfoam
with silicone - heavy exudate,
10cm x 10cm, 10, Allevyn Gentle-
66800248’; Item 4207K ‘Dressing -
foam with silicone - heavy exudate,
7.5cm x 7.5cm, 10, Allevyn Gentle -
66800269’; and Item 4230P
‘Dressing - foam with silicone -
heavy exudate, 10cm x 10cm, 10,
Allevyn Gentle - 66800270’.
The DVA is currently working with
Smith & Nephew to amend the prices.
Those wishing to dispense the
affected Allevyn Gentle dressings
should contact the Veterans’ Affairs
Pharmaceutical Advisory Centre on
1800 552 580.
The RPBS will be amended shortly
to show correct prices.
