DOZENS of infants in sun-poor
Denmark were poisoned after being
given a liquid vitamin D supplement
that contained 75 times the level
recommended and indicated on the
bottle, according to Danish health
authorities writing in a BMJ article.
Danish firm Inno Pharma,
which produces and markets
the supplement for infants and
pregnant women, recalled the
product from the market on 21 Jul
after the incorrect levels of vitamin
