THIS year's guest speaker for the Queensland Guild's Women in Pharmacy Breakfast is the prominent Queensland cabinet Minister Hon Shannon Fentiman (pictured), Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Minister for Women, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence.
Fentiman will join more than 180 community pharmacists and pharmacy industry representatives at Victoria Park Ballroom to address this year's campaign theme #EmbraceEquity for International Women's Day on Wed 08 Mar.
Queensland branch Vice President and MC for the event, Amanda Seeto is proud to host this important event for the pharmacy profession, saying each year's theme brings inspiring conversations to the forefront.
"This will be the third year the Guild has supported this memorable international event and we are thrilled to host and hear from our guest speaker, Minister Fentiman.
"International Women's Day is an important day to me and many of my community pharmacy colleagues as it provides an opportunity to share meaningful conversations," Seeto said.
Guests will enjoy a morning of reconnecting with familiar faces as well as networking with new connections over a hot breakfast, with lucky door prizes and gift bags.
