COLLABORATION on Good Manufacturing Practice inspections of pharmaceutical manufacturers between the European Medicines Agency and its international partners is to be expanded to include Japan's Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Agency.
The cooperation sees participants share information on inspections of manufacturers of active pharmaceutical ingredients located in foreign jurisdictions.
The Japanese agency now joins the global collaboration which also includes the US FDA, Health Canada, the World Health Organization and Australia's TGA.
