PHARMACY educators have a new platform to explore learning resources aimed at embedding Indigenous knowledge and expertise into Western-style pharmacy education and training.
The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) and the Council of Pharmacy Schools ANZ's new website called Leaders in Indigenous Pharmacy Profession Education (LIPPE) Network aims to embed cultural safety into curriculum, training and practice.
APC CEO Bronwyn Clark, believes that Indigenous expertise can enrich other healthcare professions.
"Knowing where to start or how to take action has, at times, been a challenge.
"This is where LIPPE aims to fill gaps and assist with people's learning and teaching journeys," Clark concluded.
